UroHealth is specifically created for Urologists, Primary Care Physicians and other medical professionals, providing easy-to-find, current information on the diagnosis and management of Prostate Cancer, Erectile Dysfunction and BPH diseases. The UroHealth site will provide core information and continually updated material on critical issues facing healthcare professionals as well as research, case studies, clinical issues, conferences, journal and book reviews. Additionally, medical professionals around the world will be invited to interact with UroHealth through online discussion forums, areas for requesting peer advice, case studies and feedback forms. The UroHealth promotion programme will keep healthcare professionals informed of new information on the site through email updates.

UroHealth is an independent site supported exclusively by an unrestricted educational grant from Abbott Laboratories/Abbott Urology International. UroHealth is owned and managed by Health Media Online, a division of the Health Media Group.

An International Advisory Board of medical professionals specialising in Urology will monitor the site. The Chairman is John Fitzpatrick MCh FRCSI FEBU, Professor of Surgery at University College in Dublin and an editor and contributor to the "Textbook of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia", "Shared Care for Prostatic Diseases" and many leading texts in urology. The Board will provide timely, valuable information and analysis of current issues facing both specialists and primary care physicians.
